The Latest From eBay Canada regarding policy changes for Afiiliates

We would like to remind you of the change to the eBay Canada Paid Search policy, taking effect April 1, 2008. From April 1, 2008, the eBay Canada affiliate program will no longer compensate for Paid Search traffic from Google, Yahoo or MSN, if directly linked to an ebay.ca page. After April 1, 2008, any earnings generated through direct Paid Search will be reversed.

Please Note:
• The decision to no longer allow direct paid search publishers applies to the eBay Canada affiliate program. If you are signed up to another eBay affiliate program outside of Canada, please refer to the Ts&Cs of that program.
• The decision applies to traffic purchased from Google, Yahoo, MSN & any of their content networks (e.g. Google AdSense).
• Direct linking via Paid Search campaigns on all other search engines is still permitted.
• Paid Search directing to a landing page on a non-eBay domain is allowed on all search engines.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all Paid Search affiliates for their hard work since joining the program – the eBay Canada affiliate team appreciates your commitment.

Thank you,
The eBay Canada Affiliate team
